Gosman's Dock is a great place to visit while you are in Montauk. It offers the perfect blend of casual and outdoor dining featuring the freshest seafood Montauk has to offer, and absolutley spectacular scenery. Come and enjoy a liesurly afternoon with the family and watch the boats go in and out of the harbor from the end of the dock, or browse among the small shops loaded with fun gifts, home furnishings, clothing and so much more.

Gosman's Dock in Montauk, NY was founded in 1943 by Robert and Mary Gosman. At the time, the Gosmans were fish packers and "fishdrummers" (agents for Fulton Market). The Gosmans family bought the properties in 1950 and additional land in 1958. The restaurant started out as a chowder stand, specializing in lobster rolls. The wholesale lobster and fish business and the quality of the seafood encouraged the family (five sons and a daughter) to develop the Gosman's Restaurant and Clam Bar to what it is today. As the restaurant developed, clothing and gourmet food shops and tourist services were added.

Gosman's Dock is located at the end of West Lake Drive adjacent to the Montauk Harbor Inlet.

From East of Montauk Village:

Take West Lake Drive heading North (follow signs for Montauk Harbor, Fishing Fleet and Ferries)

continue to the end (road makes a 90 right turn, you'll see Gosman's restaurant in front of you)

Parking field will be on your right

From Montauk Village or points West:

Follow Route 27 East until you enter Montauk village

Make a left turn at the circle in the middle of town (by the flag pole)

Turn onto Flamingo Road (at the corner by "The Tower", the only 6 story bldg., follow signs for Montauk Harbor, Fishing Fleet and Ferries)

Follow Flamingo Road and continue straight when you reach the Stop sign (as you enter the harbor area)

Gosman's Dock will be directly in front of you just a few blocks up, parking field will be on your left

Montauk Marine Basin

Montauk Marine Basin has been providing the seasonal and transient boater a second home since 1955. We've been family owned and operated since the beginning. Montauk Marine is located in Montauk Harbor on the west side near the Viking Ferry Fleet and is within walking distance of Gosman's Dock.

Montauk Point Lighthouse

The Montauk Point Lighthouse Museum is a must see while you are in Montauk. On it's way to becoming a national historic landmark, the Montauk Point Lighthouse has been an aid to navigation for merchants, sailors and fisherman since 1796. The Museum, located in the original lighthouse keepers home is a great family amusement and climbing the lighthouse tower is a rewarding challenge, with unsurpassed views of the Atlantic and Long Island Sound. The Gift Shop (which does not require entrance to the museum) offers a wide range of Montauk Lighthouse and nautical theme items.
